Send Us Your Pre-Designed Files For Printing

You can order any product on our website and attach your pre-designed, personalised file for us to use.

On each of our product pages there is an option to 'Attach Your Design'. Just attach the design file you would like us to use for your printing order. We require good quality 'print ready' files which are ready to print. We will email you a digital proof of your design to check and approve before printing your order.

    • We prefer PDF files. We can also work from JPEG, PNG, Word and Excel files etc.
    • Resolution: Please make sure your file has a minimum resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch). Lower resolution files may print distorted or pixelated
    • Colour: Full colour printing is in CMYK. Please make sure your files are saved to CMYK and not RGB. RGB and Pantone colours will be converted to CMYK
    • Crop Marks: Please add crop /cutting marks to your design
    • Fonts: Please outline or embed your fonts on your file
    • Proportions: Please supply your artwork file at the correct size, height and width proportions
    • Black: Please ensure all black text and fills have the colour value C0 M0 Y0 K100
    • Bleed: If your design goes right to the edge of the paper/card, we require an additional 3mm to be added to your design all the way around. This additional bleed will be cut off when we guillotine your order to size
    • Safe Zone: Please make sure all text is a minimum of 3mm from the edge of your design
    • Text: We do not recommend having small text very near to the edge of your design. We do not recommend using text below 5 point
    • Lines: We do not recommend using less than 0.5 point for lines
    • Copyright: Please ensure you have legal authorisation and copyright to use an image. We cannot be held responsible for issues with image copyright and our professional involvement with your order is for printing only

If you are unsure of the suitability of your artwork files, please place your order and attach the files. We will contact you once we receive your order and have reviewed your files. We always send digital proofs for approval before printing any order.

If your files are quite large you can send them to us via wetransfer.com

We also recommend Canva which you can use to create beautiful design work yourself. Once you have created your design, send this to us to print. Please make sure to save as a PDF in CMYK and minimum 300dpi. We also require cutting marks.

Please contact us if you have any queries.

Technical Information:

Most pictures on a screen are made up from small dots of colour. Each picture is made up by a certain number of dots or pixels. The higher the number of pixels the higher quality the picture and the larger it can be displayed or printed without distorting. If a picture is enlarged beyond a certain point it will begin to distort and appear blurry.

A screen displays at 72dpi (dots per inch) where commercial presses print to 300dpi (This is a different type of dpi compared to consumer printers). Most images found on the internet are only 72dpi and are unsuitable for our professional printing process. To see how a press would print your logo or picture, zoom in to 400%, or display the image four times as large as you would like it to appear when printed. This will give you an idea of how it would look when professionally printed.
