What is NCR Paper?
NCR stands for No Carbon Required. It’s a type of carbonless copy paper used to create duplicate or triplicate copies of handwritten or printed documents - without the messy carbon paper that used to be needed in the past.
When you write on the top sheet of an NCR pad, book, or set, the impression transfers through to the sheets beneath, instantly creating perfect copies.
Businesses across the UK use NCR printing for:

What is NCR?
NCR (No Carbon Required - to give it its full name) is multiple sheets of specialised paper which are coated with carbon to either the front, the back or both sides. The carbon then reacts when writing pressure is applied to the top sheet, allowing the transfer of the image through to the subsequent NCR sheets below.
NCR Sets
Loose sets as they are also known are the least expensive way of manufacture. Comprising of 2, 3, 4 or sometimes 5 parts, all of the NCR parts are glued together to make one complete, individual set. These NCR sets can then be Numbered, Hole Punched and Perforated if required.
NCR Pads
NCR Pads are usually 50 sets (loose sets) collated together, comprising of 2, 3, 4 or sometimes 5 parts, generally in 50`s, and then glued together into pad form. The NCR Pads are supplied with a grey board backing card, and then a writing shield that is inserted under a complete set, to stop the transfer of information travelling through multiple sets in one go. The writing shield is a piece of card that is either supplied loose or in wraparound form (attached to the back of the NCR pad). The sets these can also be Numbered, Hole Punched and Perforated if required.
NCR Books
NCR Books are usually 50 sets (loose sets) collated together, comprising of 2, 3, 4 or sometimes 5 parts, generally in 50`s, and then stitched into book form. All sheets within the book are perforated, stapled and bound together. Each book has a stub, if you decide to remove certain NCR sheets from the book, they will tear out from the stub. NCR books are supplied with a grey board backing card, and then a writing shield that is inserted under a complete set, to stop the transfer of information from “travelling” through multiple sets in one go. The writing shield is a piece of card that is either supplied loose or in wraparound form (attached to the back of the NCR book). Books are supplied with Covers that can be printed if you so wish. The sets can also be Numbered, Hole Punched and Perforated if required.
